Seagrove's Math Madness Night was a great success!

Students and their families came out for our Title I Math night on Thursday, March 22 to work on their math skills and maybe sink a basket or two.  Students received a Math Night handout to use as their worksheet as they moved through the four stations in the gym.  They added, multiplied, and solved word problems, located 2-D/3-D shapes, and parallel and perpendicular line as they were "going for the gold"!  They got to measure the circumference of a basketball and even get in some shots as they calculated their way around the stations.  When they completed each activity and earned their four stickers, they received their "Math Medal" for all their hard work.  Thank you to all the families that came out for their children.  It was wonderful to see all their smiling faces as they measured, multiplied, manipulated and made math come alive!  Parents were not left out.  They received a handout entitled "How can I help my child with math?
